I once had an Apple ][c+ and had written in machine code,a drawing program. Among other features it had a macro facility * you could store a sequence of moves to draw automatically repetative details -like the huts in this picture.
Pre-recorded on the disk (for sale!) were macros and sample drawings.
I might still have a listing of the code stored in the cellar. After all the years, I no longer remember how to program a desktop and do not even know what language this DELL laptop uses, or even the drawing commands in my drawing program...
