This is well... the classical Nativity scene : P In Spain it's tradition to have them in every home for Xmas, more than the trees, at least until lately (american culture imposes over ours at a fast pace!).
And this scene features a lot of spanish furs, prolly most of s-cheetah 's friends. The list would be too long and the jokes too hard to translate to english, but since
- The gryphon on 'fire' is saberhagen , screaming 'Firebaaaaaaaall!' - The blue dragon who set him on fire is blackdragon1 and is saying 'Hehe, nifty Behelem Star I made!'
Now, a clarification: In spanish, the 'Nativity Scene' translates as 'Behelem's Portal'. Good part of this drawing's joke is based on a pun :P
- The sergal playing the role of the Archangel Gabriel is patxi , basque fur, with their characteristic accent and way of speaking (they're usually portrayed as very cussy, hard-speaking people), holding a 'Peace and stuff' banner, saying something like 'Goddammit, see? He's born in the Behelem Portal, fuck it!'
, holding a remote control to open portals, and that's why s-cheetah is falling endlessly from one portal to the one below in the middle of the scene (playing the role of newborn Jesus)
In the nativity scene, there's traditionally the figures of the mule and the cow, since Jesus was supposed to have been born in a stable. Those roles are played by the following two:
- The 'mule' is actually played by a horse, jadoube, and he says 'Yeah, I know, but somebody had to play the mule's role..' - The 'cow' is actually played by a bull, skorn, and he says 'Hi, I'm Skorn and this is the first time I'm in a drawing'
- The shepherd is me :P And I say 'Mmmm... I still think these sheep have something odd to them..', while the soldiers are playing the role of sheeps and bleating 'L-a-a-a-a-a-wyer...'
is an orca, and is with @Daikiri, a husky, and his RL mate. The orca is whispering, 'And when we're done with this, I'm gonna give you such a trip that even your crown will shiver. I got a 'french sir' that wanna say hi to you'. The dog replies 'Hush, hush, we gonna get busted...'
(the 'french sir' says 'alo, alo'. It's... a kinda inner joke regarding a certain part of the orca's body on Second Life that kinda 'waves to you' : P)
