It's been tough to gain the duo's trust, what with their bad experiences with every other would-be adopting family. Slowly but surely, though, the raccoon has been trying to balance the firmness needed of a good parent, and the understanding needed of anybody who deals well with teenagers. Glint and Spark have been rather guarded, but it's hard to keep saying 'no' to caring affection. Daring to test their approval, he asks them to pose for a family photo at the beach near their home. There's eye rolling and groaning aplenty, but... they didn't walk away. That's progress toward being one big happy hyper family! That. Is. Progress.
Haha. I really like their color theme. It allows me to do so much neat stuff. I should explore that more. You see red and blue so often, after all- sports teams, video game characters, police lights... ... I hope they're never heralded by police lights. <_<
