Yup. In the latest BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma. Shes a DLC character, I think she has a small story in Arcade mode. But I don't think shes actually in the Story Mode.
Her fighting style is all magic and science mixed. Warping in random weapons and objects, power hammers, gravity traps, etc. Her speed is off the charts too. Her Astral finish is one of the most epic ones next to Iron Tager's.

Well there's your problem, button mashing. Maybe learn a character and how he/she works? I play as a few characters and every character is pretty different. Arakune might be the only character where button mashing will get you anywhere, and even so, not far.

I'm fan of Blazblue obviously, I found the controls to be on par with most other 2D styled fighters, that said I think the whole genre could use a shake up and some new refinement how they control and play. Right now fighting games have huge learning curve to really get into for a game that only really plays in 5 to 10 min matches.
