This is something I just whipped up as part of an art assignment for an introductory printmaking course at college. The project is to make a lithograph with one of the seven deadly sins as a theme. I chose lust and after some brainstorming, I decided to create a lighthearted but saucy rendition of Luxuria featuring Sonata Dusk from Rainbow Rocks. Since the details of the project allow the (fair) use of appropriated images, I figured I could make a tribute to the blue, ponytailed siren and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic while recontextualizing the character as a symbol for something inappropriate for a television show intended for younger and general audiences.
