You need a couple of things for oil painting, that's true. But it's not very hard when you get over the inherent techniques that come with the medium. This however, is not a painting at all. It's closer to a crayon work, and the supplies I used are very cheap! :D

yeah i guess it's true, the same could be said about digital. You also need to get used to using layers and adapt to the tools the programs give you. Furthermore what worked on paper doesnt always work on the tablet....so yeah it also has its learning curve. I guess it'll give it a try one day. :-[
