Interesting!

Try varying the volume of the percussion, it'll make it more flavorful.

I'll see what I can do! :) Did you look up Super Star Soldier music on Google? Was it really accurate as the original?

I'm not sure. Were you going for Stage 5? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8-GLOAPe-s

The percussion on the original song is really tricky and it has an oddball rhythm and some very rapid notes - it looks relatively hard to replicate to me.

I think you should focus on volume balance and maybe panning. The exact same song can be improved greatly just by mildly adjusting how loud each of its channels is. NES games also rely a lot on a generated reverb effect to get a full feeling without having too much going on at once.

Right.... I should add more vibrating sounds right?

Not that - reverb is echo.

This guy put a very noticeable reverb on this mix of Snake Man. With FamiTracker you probably won't have quite that same fullness but it'll definitely help, I think!

It's cool! Don't worry about what just I want! It's your music and as you improve you'll have your own distinctive style.

You know that we can be quite a team together. :) How about maybe, be my partner someday making videogames together?

I can definitely consider that. I like chiptunes and oldschool spriting.

Me too! I grew up in the early 90's playing Super Mario 2 and Mario Bros. 3.
