This is Asura's mark, which she places on her pets and slaves. Pets get it on a pendant; or a tag on their collar. Slaves, on the other hand; get it branded directly on. The indigo part of the mark glows, and the black part is the shape of the normal metal part of the brand. Red is unmarked, negative space in the brand, but is actually red on the pendants/tags of pets.
