In my own fan-fic, even as writer's block & burn-out was closing in, I had a sorceress from antique days, one Brunhilda, queen of Norway, who, revived and rose from her grave in the lonely marshes, when a wizard removed the rune-chased staff holding her down and dormant. Tho a living bog body, she came with him (using a domination spell on him) back to Domdaniel and there, after studying magicks that were after her time, teamed up with Zoth-Phoob, an ancient Egyptian wizard, who also returned to life -tho by a different procedure, and left via the Room of Rising Winds.

I state this here, as Rarity acted much like Brunhilda, saluting the air. Upon rising from her dreary grave, Brunhilda said hello to the flowers, the sky, etc., stretching her limbs for the first time in centuries ! Under a domination spell , the wizard was unable to do anything about this.
