A VTOL troop transport that provides its own (meager) fire support, the Parrot is another rare pirate vehicle making the rounds. Weighing in at 20 tons, the transport can cram a full platoon of 28 foot soldiers into its not-so-spacious cabin in the back. For backup weapons, the Parrot carries a machine gun and an LRM 5-pack. It’s not exceedingly swift for a copter (130kph top speed), but it is fairly well armored for a VTOL, making it rather difficult to shoot down.
The Parrot's sister copter, the Falchion, uses the same chassis with a somewhat smaller engine, half a ton of armor removed, and removes all weapons and the infantry bay for an Autocannon/5 and two tons of ammunition.

I don't know much about Mechwarrior or BattleTech, but I've always been a fan of mechs and such. You and I should chat and bounce ideas someday!

It should be noted that these three vehicles are all custom designs using BattleTech's construction rules. And I'm not usually a talkative sort, so uh.... ^_^;;
