Dragon Lady: Before The Brute
Dragon Lady: 404
Poor Shimera.  It's not easy being a hybrid clone containing the DNA of Dragon Lady and Silver Dragon with a dash of snake thrown into the mix.

Shi tries so hard to do things to help Mistress Diabolica and Dastardly like any good daughter would.  But some tasks are just too simple for hir level of power to perform.  Someday shi'll get it right.  Until then, Diabolica better make greater allowances in her budget to purchase more trash cans.

Perhaps a bit too hard?

Makes one wonder just what she was doing to launch the can, rather than merely lift the bag out.  X3

It might be one of those neighborhoods where you have to set your trash out still in the cans or risk the neighborhood dogs scattering it all about.

The downright pitiable portrayal of her mood is excellent as is her expression.

Thank you.

her face in this is so awesome, so full of emotion, and the posing matches the dialog really well. Every hero or anti-hero has a side they don't usually show, and it's wonderful to see hers protrayed so well:)

I was really trying to show contrition and frustration in her expression and posture, while the other two area  lot more relaxed about the whole thing.  And these little portrayals are one of the big reasons I wanted to pursue this Dragon Lady idea.  There are a few comics, like Astro City, that explore some of the lesser seen areas and ideas that most superhero stories neglect but even they haven't explored some areas I would like to see.  Some are getting a bit better and I've been inspired by those but there's still more they could do.   There's still more I could do if only I could manage to sketch again.

yes, the frustration, sadness, and emberassment is wonderful on her; it makes her feel real, not just a heroic or villainous construct. Moments like these are one of the reasons I so adore your universe and skills as an artist:)

D'aww, poor Shimera. She really is the most sympathetic of the villains.

Perhaps it's because rather than being a villain, she's more a tool of villains.  She really hasn't made the choice for herself.

Exactly!

Aww, this makes me just want to hug her!
Dharken

Just be careful in doing so.  Should she decided to hug back, your ribs might be crunched to bits.

Right, duly noted.  Wear kevlar when hugging Shimera, until she gets used to her strength.
