This was supposed to be posted on the US official VJ Day but I totally let the date get away from me. Doesn't help that it technically falls on two different days. Anyway, here you go.

VJ Day is more known as Victory over Japan Day. I wouldn't say it's a means to celebrate a victory so much as a means to celebrate the end of a war.

I see it more of being able to go home to loved ones and leave the fighting behind. Unfortunately I don't ever see an end from war. I don't believe humans are capable of putting their personal desires below the idea of living as equals. And people wonder why I like animals over people, at least animals do things for a reason.

As cute as the picture is, im at a total split of what it represents. O.o cant' say both sides didn't get screwed in the senceless war. Especially with the US droping two nukes and starting the cold war arms race or how we tossed the jap-americans in internment camps and sunk as low as the Nazi's.. (woo victory) So yeah.. war is an ugly thing..
