Wanted to make some fanart of Kovu from Lion King II~ <3

Even though I believe Kovu is not fit to be king I reallt like him, especially because he was so weak both mentally and physically. It was a nice change that it was the female character who was strong and the male character who needed her help and saving.

Anyway, I tried to draw him a bit more realistic than my usual style when it comes to big cats. And I know, I made his scar wrong, but I did this on purpose. If you think about it, the swipe Zira did over his face would not be able to make a single scar over the eye. Either there would be no scar, or each claw would leave a gash.
