After FINALLY gathering some good inspiration and motivation to do this, I've made a decent reference for one of my more-used characters and the main protagonist of the Voidrunner series, Ka'Din Cikaran.

After losing both her natural pairs of lower arms and legs, she was granted the opportunity to either have an early retirement from active RAAC service, or be placed into a program to retain her full use of her previously-lost limbs.

Disappointed at the obvious illusion of free choice, she chose the latter and had her organic limbs replaced with bio-mechanical prosthetics, which in the long run seemed to do her more good than harm, aside from losing the feeling of touch and sensory contact she once had.
