Ive got a sketchbook going right now, and i plan to sell it. The problem is, i dont know what people want when it comes to buying a sketchbook!!!
Ive seen people: Sell for a fixed price with it full or almost full of drawings Sell for a fixed price with half or less full of drawings, but draw the character of the buyers choice Sell as an auction with only their drawings in it, full or almost full Sell as an auction with half or less full, but depending on the winning bid, they may add more to it sell as an auction with half or less full and draw the rest with the buyers character of choice, also depending on how high the bid goes.
What seems more worth YOUR money? I want to get a good value out of this since it is very time consuming but likely fun to own for the buyer.
Some details of what i have so far:
The book itself is pretty good quallity. Its hardcover and wire bound. 80 pages total. The pages are perforated (to remove the pages cleanly from the book) and the paper itself is fairly thick. I only draw on one side of each page (as seen in the picture) and i use external paper underneath the page im drawing on to prevent marking the next page and to help prevent any damage.
all the drawings so far are done with simple HB pencil.
There is 30 pictures already done, inspired by a 30 day challenge however i completed it in 3 days lol.
So what are your thoughts? how much would you be willing to pay for and which method would you preffer? as a refference, if i were to fill the whole book, i dont think i would want to sell it for anything less than 100$, but i would hope to get a bit more than that as well. ^^
