I originally started this picture as another face/head exercise to include hair and something of an expression. But as I finished the head I decided to go ahead and make a complete sketch out of it and added the body. This is very close to the figure I want for my character, hopefully I'll get a grip on sketching the female body without any references.
I mentioned in a journal entry about a month ago about an alteration of my character "Shay Feral" as a teenager. The complete picture will be a representation of my character before she changes her identity at the age of 20, she is 19 years old in this picture... I know, my aging sucks balls, sue me, I'm still a beginner. :/
For those who aren't following the name "Jacqueline Stevenson" is Shay's birth name before changing to "Shay Feral"
My character's signature attire is also getting an overhaul, though the most evident change other than color and material is a logo on the back which can't be shown in this picture.
The heart shaped "M" on her left shoulder strap will be explained in the completed picture.
