A suspenceful story-arc was where Yakko was in the ICU after an auto accident involving him & Bugs (the latter was driving, but was far less injured). It was not certain whether Yakko could recover completely.

This fan-fic was in diametric contrast to one that I did NOT enjoy,also on Fan-Fic. My trusty laptop, having had increasing problems lately, up & quit, crashed up on me. I had to fall back on a half-dead older one that ran only in safe mode* (full mode kept crashing out and would not run or start).I mention all this because while using it to run in lieu of the bummed up laptop, I found this Warner Bros. story where they,having gotten out a 2nd time after 14 years, encounter such disasters that they wonder whether they should have escaped at all.
Yakko meets Plotz again, and the man goes ballistic, smashing Yakko's face with a cane and almost KILLS him had he not been restrained. As it was, Yakko loses an eye ! In the hospital he tells a new friend that the old Yakko, the one who could sing about the nations of the world, about all the words in the English language (an obvious impossibility), was now DEAD ! End of chptr.4.
The author then stated that, due to file corruption, chpt 5 and 6 (the latter in progress), was lost. That and writer's block put the story in hiatus - until somebody was found to collaborate with him. I ,certainly, was NOT going to do so. I did not want to think about what was to happen to Wakko & Dot. I deleted the story from my favorites links. This laptop will remain in use until I either get the new one fixed OR the Windows10 one running in control. It is a user-hostile MONSTER. Did not come with a user manual...
