Well, this is the first battle, an exhibition battle!! Maybe there will be another! This time is Draco VS Kenji... have in mind the club won't start yet, till september!! So here's the story!!
Draco waited patiently at the entrance of the arena. He agreed with Kenji on having a friendly sparring. And then there he was… accompanied with other six people. He knew those were the Shinobi Yokai, Kenji’s group of friends and comrades in arms. Draco opened the door that had already an arena waiting for them.
“Alright guys, I'm taking this one alone. I'll be fine...” said Kenji as he looked at the snow covered garden with the moon high in the sky and light snow coming down powdering his black yukata and red sash with white.
“Hope you enjoy this place” grinned Draco as he moved his toes into the snow “is not as cold as my homeland, but is nice” the wolgon laughed.
As Draco and Kenji fixed their places in the arena, the other six reached the observation balcony sitting right in front of the large glass.
“I gotta admit... That Draco sure has good ideas of battle arenas...” said Sayuki, a snow woman as she smiled slightly brushing her hair out of her eye, only for it to go back. “Well I concur. But why were we invited to the exhibition match exactly?” asked the eagle Wataru as he fixed his goggles.
Draco and Kenji fixed their places and smirked at each other.
“Well Kenji, are you ready for this?” asked Draco as he wiped the snow out of his face.
“I’m ready” smirked the lion as tipped his sword at the wolgon “come at me bro!”
Draco nodded and rushed his way to Kenji in a burst of speed rocketing a fist to punch his face, but the lion leaped out of the way kicking Draco’s back making him land on the snow burying his snout there. Kenji withdrew his two swords and took a defensive stance.
“Darn… Damned snow…” growled Draco as he sprung up back into fighting stance.
Draco looked at Kenji measuring what he could do… though the first thing he did was send a crimson spark flying right at his sword to shock him.
“Whoo! GO KENJI!” howled the tanuki Shigeru and then he grinned “You too Draco!”
The spark landed right when Kenji was homing at Draco. The lion shook stumbling and falling to the snow swallowing some. Without delay, Draco leaped upwards crossing his hands and charging crimson flares on them and shooting them towards Kenji. But before landing, the lion cut on the fabric of reality vanishing instantly. Draco looked around but he felt the slash on his back as soon as the lion ripped the reality behind the wolgon. The impact rocketed Draco making him crash into the small frozen pound and eliminating the crimson flares in the way.
“Damn! That’s gotta hurt… I bet I could withstand that cold water though” suggested Kazu, the kappa.
Draco shook into the water but outside, Kenji could see the bright red blur of fire as it melted the icy cover... and the next thing he felt was the hot handpaw of Draco gripping his ankle, and then the wolgon swirled the lion slamming him on the ground.
“Liked my ground pound? hehe I've been perfection it for this!” smirked the wolgon still on the air and descending slowly summoning his wings for a brief moment.
“Man that is painful!” gasped Kenji gritting his teeth “Ngg..” the lion gasped again closing his eyes and clasping his hands.
“Ohhh Kenji... I hope he isn't too badly hurt” lowered her ears Sakura, a kitsune girl from Inari’s kin.
“C'mon!! stand up” smiled Draco as he bounced lightly still on his fighting stance.
“Eye of the lion!” roared loudly Kenji body slamming Draco sending snow and gravel flying all over the place into the air “Who needs swords when you have your own fists?” his hands emanating a bright light.
“Maybe someone who is too close to a close distant fighter?” grinned Draco grabbing the neck of Kenji's yukata slipping his leg into the lion's tummy and making a judo toss on him slamming his brother on the wall of the garden breaking a couple of rocks in the way.
Kenji leaped off of the rubble and ran in a circle around Draco as he homes in, then he released a blast of energy from his palms that sent the wolgon twenty feet into the air.
“Maybe…” answered Kenji “but I wouldn't want to do the exact same thing every time! Too predictable!” but then he sensed Draco already charging a new attack “Damn!!! I’m running out of energy… Time to stay alert.
Draco looked from above at his brother growling and rubbing his tummy while summoning his wings to remain airborne. The wolgon looked again and calculated time and movement... then he charged crimson flare and crimson spark, one on each hand and shoot them at Kenji from different directions. Then he dove to catch Kenji off guard and try to apply another ground pound. Nevertheless, Kenji used his dimensional rend again and grabbed Draco’s foot tossing him towards the crimson sparks in hopes for the wolgon to be paralyzed… but the surprise of Kenji, the attacks landed but did absolutely nothing on him.
“Forget that I'm immune to electricity attacks and effects?” asked Draco smirking.
“So? That would still give me time to do THIS!” roared Kenji as he raised his swords in the air, both radiating light and dark energy.
“Kenji is using his Masamune Sword with conflicting energies? That could be pretty devastating unless he dialed down the power!” gasped Takeshi the bear warrior.
Kenji called out his attack making a cross slash of light and darkness that rushed against Draco before exploding. The blast knocked Draco back into the small pound leaving him dazed.
“Ow... shit...” moaned Draco as he stumbled his way out of the pound “ngg... crap... I-I guess i only have... one more thing to do...” the wolgon took a deep breath and his body became surrounded with a purple aura. Then he rushed at Kenji sending a large barrage of crimson flares and sparks and finally reaching at him slamming the lion with several light punches in the gut “Hope you like poison bro...” every single punch and impact delivered a small amount of poison into Kenji, poison that weakened him.
“Uh-oh… T-that can’t be good” gasped Shigeru.
“Obviously… those poisoned hits won’t take long to make Kenji pass out…” agreed Sayuki.
Draco punched more and finally prepared a final punch right at kenji’s face as the aura of Nidhogg's poison faded... but in that moment a burst of light appeared between the both of them holding both's ankles spinning them and slamming them on the ground.
“Can't both of you remain quiet?! And Draco... you know there are still some weeks before the club begins! Why in the blazes of Hellgade are you doing in a spar like this?! You could have done it out of the arenas!!” the armored raccoon that stood between both fighters looked at each and then tossed a light from his palm that healed Kenji's poisoned self.
“T-thanks for that…” Kenji gasped in relief “Why don’t we call it a draw for now.”
"Aww... c'mon! it's not the same!!" whined Draco as Famine helped both stand on their paws.
"But you know that this arenas have to be repaired... by me!!!" Famine sighed and dragged both out of the arena "Now, stay out of the arena and DON'T MAKE A MESS!" the horseman barked and closed the doors.
"Well... he's getting softer" chuckled Draco "In other times he'd have ripped our ears and heads off"
“You gotta love these friendly moments huh?” said Kenji while rubbing his neck.
“Yeah… they are neat” chuckled Draco patting Kenji’s back “Wanna hit the showers?” the wolgon winked at his bro “I’ll make you feel great.”
