This is a commission for my mother, she's been wanting me to draw something for her to hang in the front room for a few years. So now that I feel my skill is worthy enough she paid me and I got to work.
She wanted me to draw a lion, a lamb and a child-- based off a scripture: Isaiah 11:6.
I took some liberates and the lion is somewhat based off of C.S. Lewis's Aslan. Hell-- I even used a reference of Aslan when I first started sketching it out.
I'm exceedingly proud of this drawing and I worked for what felt like FOREVERRRRRR on this drawing because I wanted to really demonstrate the lengths of my ability at this point in time, that and I just wanted to do a good job since it was for my parents-- mostly my mother. I forced myself to stop working on it because I was literally getting tired of seeing the file, that and just hoping such a GIGANTIC FILE caused everything to lag-- the true size of this image is 4600x3000.
It's nice to also get a commission to draw what I love drawing-- animals.
I mean sure-- smut is great and all but it's nice to remember that this is where I started out. Now I can do it with decent competence.
