Well as some of you may know, I can't get Sai to work. I'd have to either go through a painstaking process I don't have the time for, or buy another tablet that I don't have money for, so in the meantime I'm going to just try to cope with this program called Krita.
It's actually very good, but I don't exactly have the hang of it. I only got an hour to test something before I have to go to bed after posting this. There is a TON of artsy-fartsy brushes, but I can't seem to really find any normal tools like... A NORMAL FREAKING PRESSURE SENSITIVE BRUSH!! or the select tool, or many others.
I'm trying to cope but I miss the simple elegance of SAI. If I actually get more than one day off this week, I'll try some fixings to see if i can get it to a useable form I can draw with on my tablet.
Other's solutions so far have been "get a better tablet" or other things of a nature I just can't do right now.
Well anyways, maybe I'll try more programs out later, pardon me while I go sleep for the third of my five 10-hour night shifts this week.
