Today was Grey’s birthday, and already the festivities were kicking off. Everyone was up and having fun, enjoying some well deserved time off from everything.
There was a knock at the door, and Grey went to answer it himself. He was pleasantly surprised to see it was Mizore, Yuki’s mother. “Well hello my little shorty~” she says as she ruffles his hair.
”Hehe, hi~” he replies, scrunching his eyes. “Yuki didn’t say you were coming over.” She removed her hand from his head and smiled big, looking just a tad nervous. “Yes well, I found the best birthday present I think I could ever offer~” He smiled up at her. “Yea?”
Mizore stepped aside, with her hands behind her back, and a middle-aged gardevoir stood where she once was, looking at Grey with a mixture of nervousness and joy.
"Happy birthday…my beautiful baby boy♥"
Grey stood there in shock, just staring at her. He turned to look at Mizore, who simply nodded her head with a grin. “B-b-but you said….that you didn’t…”
”That’s right. I lost track of your mother after I took your father back from the daycare. Her trainer didn’t want to keep your egg, so I took it, and raised you with your daddy. But I’ve been trying to find your mother ever since.”
Moved to tears, the little black gardevoir latches onto his mother, silently weeping into her shoulder. “I-it’s ok sweetie…I’m so sorry..I wasn’t there for you..but I’m here now…mama’s here~” She squeezed him tight, rocking side to side gently. “Now, let’s go meet all your friends. And I would love to meet my grandchildren~”
