did this way quicker than normal so it dosn’t look as crisp.

        Apple bloom and her son come across a unicorn mother. Unicorns are very rare even in Equestria these days. They are the easiest of the 3 to catch as their magic can be detected by machines.

      as they get closer they realize she has a  broken horn, was badly beaten and apparently died crawling to her just out of reach foal. The baby unicorn is still alive but just barely.

       she takes the foal into her care knowing it will not last the night. at the very least she takes the slightest comfort knowing that its last night spent was with a mothers love.

          The day Equestria is rid of humans cannot come soon enough
