The Brewer family are a trio of siblings with bizarre magic-related gifts who inherited (and now, together, run) their parents' bar in Alternia. They were some of the earliest FR characters - and, as such, have kind of crappy old designs that have needed updating for some time now ^_^;
Olive is the youngest of the three, who works as a waitress at the bar, and - in a rather Bridget-esque fashion - was raised as a girl to avoid concern over a prophecy which said that the Brewers' son would be born with the power to absorb and re-use magic (a dangerously powerful ability in Alternia). Which he can, though he's a sweet little guy who would never use it for inappropriate reasons. Oh, and his name is a pun on "extra virgin" olive oil - I always thought it was great as a kid ;p
