The Source of All is a storyline element from before the reboot. It's a pool of sentient golden goo that bonds with the Acorn bloodline, granting them wisdom and knowledge to rule. The Source had stated its intention to bond with Sally on a number of occasions despite her refusal. And then it could wait no more. Forcibly bonding with Sally, it took over her mind... and convinced her that all of her friends needed to be bonded as well. Now Sally will plunge her friends into the Source and let them see the enlightenment she has received...
