I was talking to someone about art once, and he said that it doesn't always come out the way you expect. Doesn't make it bad, though! I'm not even a good artist, but I do the same. Maybe the backround will be colored differently than I wanted, or a character doesn't look like what they did in my head. Oh well. Art's hard, but enjoyable. :P

That is most certainly the truth. It's a peaceful day in the Middle East when an image actually looks the way I intended it to. Usually my hands, mind's eye, and regular eyes just don't like to agree with one another.

True that! Mine don't cooperate at all. I guess if art was easy, no one would improve, right? And it wouldn't be a "special talent" anymore because anyone could just do it. So yeah, I think the difficulty aspect is what makes it worth it. You can say, "I did that," loud and proud, because you worked toward a skill that others didn't, and you've got something great to show for it, now.
