Although my art doesn't reflect it, I'm a big fan of superheroes and comic book art, Marvel and DC equally. So when
tasked me once again to illustrate his team of feline warriors; Team Scratch, precisely as a superhero group I just had to do it. So I set forth to not only design wholly original costumes for each of the members of the team, I also wanted to design personalized insignia for each of them.
I designed each suit so it was distinctive to each character's powers but at the same time to have a common theme to them reflecting the fact they are part of a team. Additionally there is nothing more representative of a superhero that the insignia in their chest which represents an aspect either of their names, powers or personality.
