Mysterious ruler of the even more mysterious Shadow Mane; a town lost to time that can only be accessed through a train in the EverFree Forest. He is believed to be a Vampire, though could just be a Thestral/Bat Pony. The rumors of his vampirism is spread by the fact that no one ever leaves Shadow Mane, and that he lives off the life forces of his subjects to remain young. Celestia and Luna knew him when he was younger, before he became what he is today.
