Ironic, that "She's Not There" was the Zombies' only major charting single in their native UK, and yet one of several hits (3 major) in America-- Rheir label didn't even bother to release Odessey and Oracle at all in the UK until much later!
Just a few weeks ago, I felt like adding their three hit songs to my iPod, on which I already had Colin Blunstone's only major hit, "Say You Don't Mind" on board (which didn't have much success in America, but was top-20 in the UK, ironic after the lack of success over their for his then-former band!)

I was lucky to catch Blunstone and Argent open for Arthur Lee & Love at Town Hall in Times Square. The biggest Zombies fan (and Moody Blues fan) I know is moodyferret; so much so, she created a ferret named Colin.
We have to credit Al Kooper for having the balls to convince CBS to release "Odessey". "Care Of Cell 44" is a fucking amazing zong, with UP-FRONT bass by Chris White.
