Her breath was easy and calm as she set her mark and rechecked the wind, steady from her left no gust. She sighted in and released the safety then waited for the word.  His watchful eyes tracked her aim from over her left shoulder, they were like one in this moment as his words were a soft steady whisper.   Shoot....shoot........shoot!
The target was hit and falling when the second round found its mark on target two the report was faintly heard by few others.
But this was war, distant shots are heard often.

Finally done with this commission done for a story

AK 74 style muzzle break.  Very effective.  I've installed one on my NHM 91 (semi auto of the RPK).  Makes for reduced recoil and less perceived noise to the shooter.

My only suggestion would be to use a cheek rest.  I put one on my M 14 Polytech.  Helps a lot.  Even the Russian had to improvise on the Mosin Nagant.

Oh my, the detail on this is damn impressive. Love the attention to detail, especially on the rifle.  A very well done picture.

Gotta agree with the above poster, but then your level of detail is why we love your art SO DAMN MUCH.

Love the posing, and the great illusion of depth on the tip of the barrel (it really seems to poke out of the screen). The thickness of the lines is responsible for that I suppose ^^ .
