Over the weekend (Friday 16th and Saturday 17th), I attend the funeral of my deceased father and it heartbreaks me, but I know he is at a better place in 'heaven', but what would happen if there was a way to climb up there (and still remain alive) to see him again? A cheesy techno song called "Techno Kitty" make me think of that. "Techno Kitty" is a cover (and course song) for "Super Techno Kitten Adventure" which clearly describes the game/story for it's successful predecessor. I don't know a thing about this game until I did some research (and wanting the game even more). Before I look up for the game, I thought of Meowstics (yes I am addicted), a sky-climbing adventure, and a techno band with fan-Pokesona "Manastyc". (I need the excuse to draw her okay?)
As for the game idea, I thought of a ridiculous mix of "Crypt of the NecroDancer", Techno Kitten Adventure and uhh.. My concept of floating glass platforms from a few-year submission "White World"... Yea it's not original, but if you need a game that is all Kirby and rainbows, this is it...
Moving from the past is not easy. But as a hero, you have to go up to the sky to save the ones that needed you. (In this story-game's idea, his Shiny parents are at a castle guarded by Devil Furfrou.) I try to give a cheesy theme to this pic, but also give it a child-like feel using colored pencils. The reason why I gave the male Meowstic a Link costume is because it's a notable nostalgia costume that everyone knew and grow up at the 80s and 90s. Plus most of my best childhood moments are from that era (and more so with my Dad being the king pampering his princess). So.. It's a hidden nod I guess.
