An Uneventful Swim
- by Wade the Orca
It was a beautiful, crisp, clear day when ilbv decided to go swimming. The water was clear, and the waves crashed softly against the shore. The day was perfect, and couldn't have been better. He swam out a little farther and relaxed in the ocean, letting the waves roll under him. He hoped to get some down time before he bodysurfed into shore.
He sighed as he felt all the stress from the previous week wash away. He lay in the water for a while; then opened his eyes, noticing that he had been floating for a while. The large swells that were flowing beneath him had practically stopped. He started treading water as he looked around. The shore was quite a distance away. In fact, so were the waves. In a moment, he realized that he had been slowly swept out to sea. He was about to swim back when he noticed a few fins circling him. An anthro shark slowly surfaced, grinning. His rows of razor sharp white teeth glinted in the sunlight.
"A little dangerous for someone like you to be out so far, don't you think?" he asked, watching the little human.
"I-I was just leaving," said ilbv, hesitating.
"You know, there are fish out here that would eat a little morsel like you," said another shark, surfacing behind ilbv. More surfaced, completely surrounding him.
"Well, I d-don't taste all that g-good," he said, laughing awkwardly.
One shark approached him from behind, licking the back of his neck. "Hmmm, I would have to disagree with you on that one."
ilbv turned to face the large shark that was floating behind him. Just then, another snuck up behind him and snapped his jaws right next to ilbv's face. "Well, there's only one way to find out, isn't there?"
"I-I, umm," he stuttered. He started to shiver from the fear. 'How am I supposed to get out of this one,' he thought. "I-I was j-just l-leaving."
"I call first bite," said one.
"You?! No, the biggest should get the first bite!" said another.
"Why thank you, I will!" said yet another.
"You 'aint the biggest," another yelled.
"I'll fight you for 'em!"
"Mmmm, I hear that the legs are the best."
"I dunno, I'm going for the arms!"
"I call the head."
"It 'aint got that much meat to it."
"It does if you get through the crunchy shell."
"S-stop! Please!" cried ilbv, "I don't wanna be eaten!"
The sharks continued, each of them arguing for the first bite as they closed in on the helpless human. One broke from the pack, right in front of ilbv, charging for his floating dinner.
Suddenly, out of the depths, the shark was blasted into the air. His attacker held on to him as the two plummeted to the water below. The landed with a deafening splash.
"Orca!" yelled one of the sharks.
"He's alone, rip off his head!" another yelled, diving for the attacker below.
The rest of the Sharks followed suit, all the rest except one. He floated behind the human, slowly drifting towards him. He quickly grabbed his dinner when he was close enough, shoving ilbv's head into his awaiting maw. 'If I'm gonna die,' he thought to himself, 'I'm gonna die full.'
ilbv screamed as best as he could as he struggled in the Shark's vice grip. He was drawn farther and farther back, and deeper and deeper into the sharks throat. He wasn't going to accept this acidic grave of his, he had to do something, but what could he do other than kick and struggle? He landed kick after kick against his attacker, but it had no effect on his predator.
A shark surfaced to see ilbv being eaten. "Hey! Save some for the rest of us!" he yelled, charging the hungry shark. He hit with such force that the first shark spat up the human.
"Hey! You took too long!"
"Too long my fin! You want him all for yourself!"
"So?! You seemed to want Orca more than-"
He was cut off as the anthro-orca appeared next to them, bashing their heads together, and forcing them underwater. He grabbed the awaiting Human, and held onto him as he quickly swam away.
"Come on! We can't stay here!" he yelled as he swam.
ilbv was scared and wriggled as much as his little body could, but the orca was large and his hand and fingers were wrapped around ilbv's whole body, and they gently squeezed tighter and held ilbv against the strongly ab'ed chest and stomach of the Orca. He was swimming and splashing on his back at huge speed and ilbv could do nothing but close his eyes.
As the orca got close to the shore he slowed down and began to talk to the otherwise scared human. "You shouldn't swim out that way. The sharks have a tendency to eat tourists."
ilbv looked up as they reached the shore and the orca set him down, gently. "Th-thank you for saving me."
"You're welcome," was the reply as the orca looked him over, "Oh my, they really did a number on you, didn't they?"
ilbv winced as he feels a small gash where a tooth got him, and looks at where his skin had become rough and scraped from the skin of the sharks. Overall, he was a little worse for wear, but he was alive, and in one piece.
"There's a tooth in this gash, so it'll bleed if I remove it right now. I have more supplies at my place," The orca said, pulling a first aid kit from the sand. He opened it and began to wrap up the human's wounds.
ilbv fought back the tears from the pain and fear. 'I'm afraid of bleeding a lot,' he thought to himself, 'and what if this orca hurts me? I know he saved my life and all, but what if now he wanted to lock me away as some sort of prisoner?'
The orca helped ilbv up, "I'm sorry, I never introduced myself. I am Wade," he said with a smile, "Now, you can hold your breath, right?"
ilbv nodded as Wade grabbed him and jumped directly into the ocean, swimming down deeper and deeper. He kept an eye on ilbv as he approached an underwater cave.
Wade wasted no time swimming into the cave, passing many luminescent plants on the way. The human's eyes were wide as he looked at them, mystified.
Wade didn’t realize how long he had been underwater as he continued to swim. He wanted to give ilbv as much time to see the plants as he could. He wasn't ignorant, he had just forgotten that ilbv couldn't hold his breath like an Orca.
ilbv started to run out of air as Wade swam. His right hand slipped to his throat as he started to float up. Wade turned on his back to see why ilbv was leaving him. When he saw ilbv's face, he immediately grabbed him and swam as fast as he could down the cave. He approached the surface at an underwater cave. He jumped high out of the water and landed on his rear end, hugging the human.
"I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" asked Wade.
ilbv nodded. "Totally," He said with a smile. He couldn't think of why, but he liked this Orca. It probably had something to do with the kindness Wade was showing him. It was unlike a predatory animal to treat him like this... as if he liked the human back.
Wade looked over ilbv. "This is gonna hurt," He said, pulling out a vial of white powder, and of golden oil. "And I mean, a lot." He pulled out a pair of tweezers and grabbed the shark tooth that was stuck in ilbv's leg. It was in a tender place: the inside of his upper leg. Wade really pitied the human as he yanked the tooth out. He felt the human tense as it caused pain to rocket through his little body. "That was the easy part," he said, not wasting any time. He sighed, then poured the powder on the wounds.
ilbv tensed as the unbearable pain sped through his body. He whimpered in pain as tears ran down his face. Reflexively, he grabbed Wade’s arm, hugging his arm tight. Wade was caught off guard as he stared at the human.
"Yeah, I'm sorry about that." Said Wade, pulling out his vial of oil, "This will make it feel much better," he said, "I promise." He poured it onto ilbv’s wounds, and watched them close up.
ilbv calmed down as the pain immediately stopped. He stared at his wounds, surprised at how quickly the Orca's treatment worked. He looked up at the large orca, who smiled gently down back at him. "Th-thank you."
Wade was happy to see his little human happy. "You are more than welcome my friend. Please, though, you sound tense."
"W-well, you are so much bigger than I am," he said with a shiver. The cave was cold and damp, perfect for an orca with blubber, but not so much for a human wearing just a swimsuit.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" said Wade, noticing ilbv shivering, "I didn’t realize you would be so cold down here. Um," he said, looking around for something warm. He never needed much down there, so he didn't have anything. Then it hit him. "I have an idea, but I don't know if you'll like it. But I know of a place you can stay. It's real safe, and warm."
"W-where would that be?" asked ilbv, trusting the orca for some reason.
"U-um, just trust me," said Wade, gently grabbing the human's feet and putting them in his mouth, warming them up while getting a good taste. For some reason, he liked feet, didn't matter what kind. After only a few seconds he started to pull the human towards him, while pushing those little feet down his throat. He looked at ilbv, hoping he didn't overreact.
ilbv was caught off-guard by the predatory, yet loving actions of the Orca. It was very oxymoronic to him to see such a large, strong predator care so much about who he was eating. However, it didn’t escape ilbv’s attention that he had just been saved from being eaten by sharks, and he was now being eaten by the Orca that saved him. He didn't dare make a sound, for fear of angering his Cetacean friend.
Wade pet ilbv’s head lovingly, letting off a small churr to let him know it was going to be fine. He expertly guided the human past his sharp teeth as he fed him little by little into his expanding throat. A bulge formed as ilbv’s legs joined his feet in that slimy slide down to Wade’s awaiting gut. Wade swallowed gently and slowly, pushing ilbv’s waist and stomach into his maw and throat as he licked the human’s back gently. He was happily surprised by the taste of this human. He had eaten human before, and each seemed to taste different for some reason.
There was something ilbv liked about being eaten by a large predator like Wade. It made him feel safe, surrounded by pulsing muscle. He was still surprised by Wade's kindness but he wasn't complaining, it felt nice and for once today, he was being eaten as a show of love, and not for sustenance. However, the thought of what would happen after Wade was done still lingered on his mind. Before he knew it, his arms were pinned at his sides in the orca's throat, and his head was entering Wade's maw.
When Wade felt the human's head on the back of his tongue, he gulped hard, not wanting to smother the human in his throat. He rubbed his throat as the bulge that was his human "snack" slid down, and eventually came to rest in his gut. He had already voided it of any acid, meaning to keep ilbv safe.
"You're safe in there, I don't digest my meals, unless they ask for it," he said with a chuckle, "you can stay as long as you need in order to heal up."
The human smiled, and put his hand to the slimy walls of his new friend's stomach. It was tight, warm, and safe, just the way he liked it. "Th-thank you Wade," he said, curling up and closing his eyes.
Wade rubbed his distended gut, murring to himself. "You are welcome, ilbv. I'll see you in the morning." He smiled and closed his eyes, leaning against the wall. Tomorrow was going to be a good day, he could feel it.
THE END
for now.
