Peabody sat in darkness not knowing where he was and why he was getting rattled. Legs up and arms bound he couldn't move. He then felt a great thump as he realizes that whoever was carrying him had set him down.
"I wonder what's in here" asked a voice that sent shivers down his fur. That was right, the genius dog deduced that he had been gift wrapped and sent to his son, Sherman.
Oh, the cruelty of Sherman when he sees his poor father in a pathetic position. Peabody could almost wish to remain in that box.
