I recently bought Donkey Kong Land 1 through 3 for the gameboy and I've been playing it in my car rides to town and such. They're actually a little hard and take a while to get used to actually playing especially after being so used to the Super Nintendo Donkey Kong Country games.
But, yeah, Dixie has always been one of my favorite characters, especially because of her big ponytail. :D

this came out great! ^w^ I love the kongs, DK 64 was a very fun game, sadly that and the first part of DKCReturns is the only games I've truly played

I think the Donkey Kong games, especially the ones made by Rare, are worth playing. If I had to choose between suggesting Donkey Kong Land or Donkey Kong Country I'd say the latter as the Land games are more challenging and use the same features as the Country games but downsized to fit into a Gameboy cart. The GB games AREN'T bad though, they're fun and have pleasent music, just are a whole lot harder than their SNES parents.
