Eh... actually if you read the Terms of Service there is a section in there that reads that regardless if you say the character is above 18, regardless of sexual preference of the depicted character (lesbian, gay, bi, etc.), the characters will be evaluated by their original age in the universe they come from, and DeviantArt does not condone underage pairings.
I do agree it's the people that just don't like your art, but those people also know that no matter what you do... you're going to lose just based on that part of the Terms of Service.
