She slid out of bed, luckily he had rolled over and was snoring loudly.
She creeped out of the room and down the hall, she grabbed her clothes from the laundry basket and took money out of his wallet.
She had planned this for awhile... their was no turning back now, not wanting to make any more noise then she had to she made her way to the door, only partially dressed.
She looked down the hallway, she could still hear his snoring, she had left the bedroom door cracked open, closing it had a chance of waking him.
Very carefully she opened the front door, holding her breath... her nerves where shot.. one wrong move could make a noise that could wake him, then all her planning would be for nothing.
With the door just barely open she slipped through the opening and closed the door just as gingerly.
Tossing her hoodie on over her head she took off in a full sprint toward the city.
When she had made some ground from her home she looked back.... No one was there...
Slowing down to catch her breath she could see the city in the distance.
Surely something better had to wait for her here.... anything was better then home...
This could be her new home... she would make it... somehow.~
