The Tale of Lunatic Lyra
"Lunatic Lyra, as they called her... She has fire-red hair, and lightning in her eyes. She's criminally insane, and was locked up in the High-maintenance, and very high-security, psychiatric prison ward when she was just a little girl. No one remembers why she was even locked in there anymore. We never kept a record... the officers, nurses, and even some of the other insane criminals who did in fact know the reason of her containment were all found dead within a week or so. All died the same way. They all had gashes across their faces, as if someone had scratched their faces beyond recognition.
Further investigation showed that these wounds were self-inflicted. The subjects had clawn at their own faces in their sleep, even digging out their own eyeballs to escape the horrors they saw everytime they closed their eyes. Their fingernails had been torn off, and their fingers peeled to the bone. The nightmarish acts caused by this little girl were things that even the devil himself turned away at. Anyone who knew what she did were haunted by the screams of her victims, living the same hellish deed over and over again. Neighbors and witness claim that the subjects kept screaming while clawing at their faces about eyes that bore lightning, glaring, unblinking as if looking into their very soul...
We didn't tell anyone why she was in there. Anyone that knew was dead by now anyway. No one bothered it, and we left her in there. Sometimes the caretakers weren't even sure if she was still living.. they didn't bother to open her cell to check. They just slid her food tray under the door, and that was that... And now... now that this 'Dustball' person has unleashed her... who knows what terror awaits us...
God save us... God save us all...."
An idea of a character on my drive home one night. She is to be used in my pacman comic that I will upload ONE day. Hope you like her, cuz there are two more insane gals to come!
