Koie: This is the first of many illustration that I am doing for a children's book entitled "Ava in Fairyland" written by T.K. Wade. I don't want to give away too much of the story, but in this scene we find Ava, a young girl who is about to unknowingly embark on a magical adventure, meeting with the conductor of a train.
The story itself is written in the style of L. Frank Baum, and we decided to try to mimic the style of illustrations found in his books. Hope you enjoy. Please let me know what you think and be sure to check back often for updates on when the book will be released!
