Known as the “487 Space Cruiser” in the United States, and as the “924 Transporter” internationally, this ship was one of several spacecraft released as part of Lego’s first voyage into their hit Space theme. Beyond the ship itself, the set included a small forklift, a cargo crate, and two Classic Space Astronaut Minifigs.

I do not have much to say about building this particular project. It was a simple and straightforward build, and took me about three hours in total to complete. The only difficulty I had was figuring out how I wanted the parts laid out in the instructions.

Constructed in MLCAD / Rendered in LDView.

HMM doesn't have enough lasers or a space jail attachment.

That's the way it was with the majority of the Classic Space subtheme. It was focused more towards exploration than combat. And the jail attachments were from Space Police, this particular set was geared towards small cargo transportation.

Man, I just loved legos so much, I remember when I would build with them, I'd try to fit as many things into one contraption as possible, then slap some wings on it and call it a spaceship. Good times.
