I made this somewhere back in 2008-9 for BlueHippo and as a Tribute to Newgrounds as a whole.
I haven't been an active member of the site for a long time but I have a lot of great memories there. When I first got into the internet Newgrounds was the only place I'd visit. I'd spend hours there with my old friend DrJam, rating videos, posting reviews and just genuinely trying to get to the top.
I think he's still active on the site, we haven't spoken in a long time so I'm not entirely sure. I did manage to make top 10 of the saves leaderboard at one point though which was a proud little achievement.
But yeah, when my focus shifted from wanting to be an amature game designer and animator to just wanting to focus more on my art, it started to feel pointless sticking around as other places like DeviantArt and YouTube had a lot more to offer and a much wider audience I could mingle with.
Maybe someday I'll pick up where things left off and be more active there again but tbh I feel I've really done all I can there. I feel like I've outgrown the place and it's busy and overly cluttered interface really puts me off whenever I pay my old account a visit.
