My new Puffins uniform has finally arrived, as mentioned in this submission! So here I am, at the arena, ready to play my first game with the Puffins!
My fellow teammate, Donald Fitzpatrick agrees that the uniform really suits me, but it will even more in just a few minutes!
Confused at what he means, I soon notice my feet straining against the inside of my skates, as well as feathers popping out of my shirt and a beak growing on my face!
My brand new uniform finally starts to tear as my feet burst through my skates, a tail pops out of my pants, and claws start to poke through my gloves. My helmet strap snaps as my beak grows out and my shorts strain from my expanding legs!
Donald sees me struggling and explains that in order to wear the uniform, I had to become a bird. Of course, that little tidbit of information could have helped, BEFORE I put it on!
Finally, everything starts to tear my uniform as my transformation nears its conclusion: my wings rip through my sleeves, my talons destroy my gloves, my feet poke further through my skates, my head starts cracking my helmet, and my legs pull apart my shorts.
Realizing my new uniform is about to be obliterated, I let out a squawk in dissappointment. But Donald explains that all this was factored into uniform costs already, so at least I'll get another uniform after all this is over!
As the transformation completes, my shorts are nearly torn off, one skate has already slipped free, and my helmet is cracked in several places. Feeling rather cramped, I rip off what's left of my torn jersey. Donald declares how nice it'll be to have another waterfowl skating beside him, while I realize that had he known about my eagle form, all of this could have been avoided.
Finally back on the ice after getting changed into a new uniform, I angrily explain to Donald that perhaps he should have let me change into my eagle form. He is shocked because he didn't know about my avian side, but I still think he could have asked!
