Part 1 of 8:
It took quite a few tries, but Lunamew finally managed to properly use her Transform technique for once, her body shifting into the form of a small fox-like creature. She leaned over the small glistening stream she had found and gave herself a once-over, checking for any obvious mistakes... such as a blue tail. No, everything seemed to be the right color for the most part. All body parts seemed to match her chosen form (unlike the last time she attempted, long story). The only thing that seemed to be off was the white-furred crescent mark on her forehead. Well, that wasn't too bad.
Luna padded around a bit awkwardly on her four feet, not used to quadrupedal locomotion yet. It wouldn't be hard to pick up. She leaned down to lap at the cool water of the stream, but paused, her almost comically long ears perking up at the sound of footsteps.
Sitting up, she quickly turned around, only to come face to face... well, face-to-chest with the biggest damn Flareon she had ever seen.
"Ah crap."
