Why am I so curious as to what is bothering the woman in the back? I'm guessing Emma(That's her name) just failed a test after assuring her mother that things were going fine with her biology major; the major her parents pushed her towards to follow the legacy of the Dubenhause name. Upon telling her friend, Amy, about not knowing what she should do to pick her grades back up, Amy reminded her that it was only a small test in terms of points and that future exams can boost her back into good standing. Amy also offered her a free iced coffee (Emma's favorite) to cheer her up.
Will Emma improve her grade? Will she stand up to her parents to switch majors? Will Amy ever find Mr. Right? We'll find out soon enough.

nah it's definately a jena, and she just found out that her boyfriend dumped her but her best friend karen is there with some witty remarks about how she may have been dumped but that opens her up to newer and better possibilities such as that cute boy upstairs in her apartment complex who plays the guitar for that grunge band she likes. her blush in the second panel is probably due to karen letting it slip that he has expressed his desire to meet and get to know jena and hope that it leads to something new.
