Based it partly on the old armour and rigs from 90s I lug about and on the more modern systems i have seen. Taurs are fine lugging the extra weight but mobility loss is always a factor.
Risk to vitals are covered mostly and of course the direct frontal target is more so than side on where legs are less important that the main trunk trauma zone would be. Depending on need would be what attschmet would be put on to the armour points as most of it is just their for blast frag and indirect impact protection, ( I'm always the pessimistic type for weapons of death, and protection never good enough for pratacality.)
