So I believe that being a dick was indeed how he intended his comment to read. I simply stated that the rest of Arineu's work looks just as good as the above picture. *grin* I dont hate the internet in its entirety. I just hate how it allows people to say and do disrespectful and hateful things under the guise of anonymity. Ergo the internet troll. Being a dick for the sake of being a dick because you suddenly can get away with it with no repercussions what so ever. Your train example is perfect actually. I like riding on a train like I enjoy perusing the net. Enjoying the sights and sounds and the general experience. However that train ride becomes a horrid experience if there is a child running up and down the isle screaming profanity's and insults and there is not a damn thing you can do about it that will have any true affect. Thats the internet these days. Youtube, streetfire, any forum really. And yeah, it gets on my nerves that now more and more children are running up and down that train isle because they see that they can get away with it. Anyway.. Sorry for the rant. but my retort to the train thing still stands, you ignore the child/troll, you listen to some music, watch a funny video, you drown out the background noise of those around you. in a true story i was almost thrown off a train because everyone in my carriage was around the same age as me and screaming profanity to the ticket guy, i plugged in my earphones, closed my eyes and turned my music up, until i was tapped on the shoulder and asked if i was with them and if i would get off the train, i simply said "i'm better than those lowlifes" and he let me stay on.
if i got into an argument with them, yelling how they are ruining it for everyone else then i would have been thrown out too for joining in.
