Pony base is a engineered pose from two different generation 3 ponies. (Mixed and matched heads with bodies.)
Full body repaint in 5-6 layers of hand-blended acrylics. Eyes hand-painted in realism/anime fusion style.
Eyes slightly enlarged to suit character.
Mane and tail are re-rooted in Restoredoll Kat silk in the color “Meghan”, RetrodollUS’s saran in the colors “Tiger Lilly” and nylon “Swiss Miss”, then dollyhair’s nylon mlp hair in the color “Sunlight”.
Outfit: started with the gloves on the front legs. Started with a base layer of white acrylic paint. Next material layer for the gloves are inverted white patent vinyl with light gray and light yellow metallic gold acrylic paint applied with a toothpick.
Gray trim is gray embroidery tape with white hemp pieced over.
Next outfit piece constructed is the white dress skirt. Pleated from the white patent vinyl material (inverted). Ebroidered with a gold ribbon trim hand-sewn around the hem. Detail is applied with a toothpick- periwinkle blue acrylic paint with silver layered over top. Next piece is the gray hanging piece that’s pictured at the front of Zelda’s dress. Cut from gray ribbon, hand-detailed with gray, yellow, gold and magenta acrylic paints.
Torso section of dress is hand-sewn from a neutral purplish pink material. Gold accessories above the tail are crafted from a gold embroidery trim, painted beads, upside down gold jeweler hearts with navy blue pearl rhinestones glued over top.
Next piece of detail, is the gold shoulder armor. I cut the shapes from a yellowish-tan bear leather hide. Painted with orangish brown acrylics with metallic yellow inca gold acrylics over top glazed with a darker gold acrylic. Bottome-most layer has hemp cord detailing, blue gem rhinestones detail the middle section.
Chest broach is crafted from antique jewelry. The crest is from a earring, the smaller piece on top is from a old ring. Long blue antique beads wired on the hoops with a red-drop piece linked in the middle. Yellow rhinestone glued to the top piece.
Hair: Took some heavy-duty beige-colored leather thread and tied it through the loops of the silver drop pendants. Threaded it through triangular silver cone beads, then wrapped is around her side bangs and tied it. Knots held in place with Tacky glue.
Used same silver cone bead on her main braid, with a thin silk off-white material wrapped around the bottom of the braid. Metallic silver/blue elastic ribbon trim tied at the top of the braid.
Jewel detailing on the back of her head- crafted from a painted gold diamond-shaped bead, gold ribbon trim, with a blue rhinestone at the top. Gold star dangle jewelry wrapped around from the piece to her tiara. Tiara is crafted from a cut gold leather strip, blue plastic diamond bead, gold jewelry, and painted leaf beads.
Sword- All leather. Blade is two trips of silver leather glued together with silver wire sandwiched inbetween. Hilt is thinner leather with toothpicks with beads glued at the ends. Hilt is wired together with floral wire. All painted in dark brown and metallic antique acrylic paint with a glaze of yellow metallic inca gold, finished with rhinestone detailing.
