Character Sheet for Samuel
Character Description
Samuel is the father of 11 year old Tanya. He works as a freelance photographer for a local magazine and also sells his own personal work online. Hes a very laid back individual and incredibly supportive of his daughter. He tries his hardest to go above and beyond in supporting her and making her feel comfortable during these troubled times. specially since his daughter was born a male. Like all parents he thought it was a phase. almost all kids like to play dress up. however, when he noticed that his son would get upset when refereed to as a boy, would fight to wear dresses, and one night even went as far as running away, it was obvious that this was more then a phase. His wife dragged him along when she started taking Tanya to doctors, fooling herself that maybe someone could change Tanya, but Sam had already made up his mind after that one night. If Tony wanted to become lil Tanya, who was he to say no. As long as his new daughter was happy, that's all that mattered in the world.
Personality
Sam is a calm collective kind of guy. He always thinks before he acts and does his best to make the best decision. Friendly, very loving to his family, and would be willing to sacrifice almost anything for them.
Background/History
Sam grew up in what some would consider a broken home. his father was a drunk and would continuously get in trouble. Some nights he wold leave for days at a time leaving him and his mother to fend for themselves. around the age of 15 his mother had had enough and threw him out, Sam couldn't have been happier. Yet as he grew older, instead of building up a pure hate for his father, he pitied him and used the life lesson to teach him what kind of a man to not become.
