^_^ I'm really proud of this one. Like, really a lot. Big file, meh. Hopefully the upload won't kill the colors. *shrug*

So, pretty much just some Sonic/Shadow slash. I was experimenting with trying for that digital painting look, and I think it turned out. AND I DIDN'T ABUSE BRUSHES ON THIS. Well, except for the background. Where I pretty much just stippled with a brush for TEXTURE zomg.

Story behind this...I don't really have one. Pretty much, Sonic's just completely inexperienced with emotional shit, so, he's all uber surprised when Shadow approaches him, or whatever. Personal cannon--everyone in Sonic universe is bi. Unless they haven't gone through puberty yet, then we leave them alone...mostly.

Anyway, I'm really happy with how this turned out. It almost didn't get finished--even though I'd really liked the sketch. So, whoo!
