After a rough ricochet off the moon, a small meteoroid leaves a crater in the Earth. From one of the holes in the porous space-rock, pops a narrow purple head.
Introducing Squiggle. His original name back at home on the moon is Lectozoon, but that seems to be too alien for the locals, so he's happy to be nicknamed Squiggle.
Squiggle is a doorworm, a small alien species invented by the mind of SuperTrainStationH. He relies on symbiosis to live, and therefore attaches to a much larger host, or simply coils round a limb.
A plethora of information on the species may be found in this image, including very interesting features such as eyes which hover just above the head by use of magnetism, communicating with the brain via radio waves. And the benefits to both host and doorworm thanks to the symbiotic relationship
