Shapeshifting Tahajin cannot: - Edit his pigmentation in any way. Any transformation, no matter how elaborate, will always be monochromatic (or ethnically ‘black’). - Copy the appearance of a organic entity without having detailed visual foreknowledge of their inner workings – usually gained through vivisection. - Detach working replicas of a duplicated object without tethering them to himself; even if its sole attachment is only a thread of his essence. - Transform on an empty stomach. Celestial sustenance is needed for any sort of metamorphose. - Exceed the mass quantum locked within him. This is highly dependent on when and how large his stellar meal was. Matter Shapeshifting Tahajin cannot: - Disperse his molecules through a solid object cured to have no imperfections. [Liquid] - Render himself impervious to all variations of assault. [Gas] - Mimic substances tougher than carbonic structures (See: Graphene, Carbyne) [Solid] - Create fire without the necessary environmental factors. [Plasma] - Use any of the previous five elements while tapped into the outer spatial anomalies. [Void] Heliovoration Tahajin cannot: - Consume a star on the verge of a supernova. - Engulf a white dwarf or a similarly massive/dense carcass of what was once a proper star. - Retain a stable form with more than five stars worth of raw fission stored in the ring of pocket dimensioned encircling his stomach. - Devour a star in the process of being done in by a neighboring black hole. - Eat any star in one sitting. Most stars, especially super and hypergiants, are simply grazed at their outermost layers for nourishment. Various Sensory Impartments Tahajin cannot: - See any of the visible light spectrum as most people do without his glasses. Augmentations in the glasses magnetized to his septum offset both his monochromatism and his myopia. - Tune out miniscule noises. The possat can hear for miles, which makes focusing on a single sound source difficult. Most people misconstrue this as simply being ‘hard of hearing’. - Refrain from transitioning to another wavelength of light. His astigmatism causes him to accidentally flint between ultraviolet and infrared. This is corrected with a blink. - Adhere to a gravitation center. If thoroughly discombobulated, the possat must first reposition his internal pocket dimensions as if they were upturned compasses before attempting to rise. - Dash without jaunting in place for a split second to, again, familiarize his inner gyroscope with the upcoming displacement. Regeneration Tahajin cannot: - Halt or pause the regeneration process. This is both involuntary and unstoppable. Similar to organic respiration, it can only be momentarily delayed. - Detach his nerve endings/synapse in order to avoid pain. Trying to do this registers as damage and the nerve cells removed are immediately reconstituted. - Set himself to regenerate newly fabricated appendages. Any additions must be manually (or consciously) repaired. - Spread his regenerative nature to someone else via symbiosis or other means. - Balk the discomfort of restoration. The possat’s regenerative processes hurt in equal ratio to the mutilation being mended. This accrues fatigue that reduces the efficacy of his inner solar consumption. Locomotion Tahajin cannot: - Travel faster than the speed of light. In other to travel between planets and his stellar meals, the possat rips a rudimentary temporal wormhole between Point A and B. Said warp must be in a straight line and cannot deviate from such. - Reach anything above Mach 1 while below the troposphere. - Negate gravity during parkour. - Hijack a natural element for the sake of accelerated movement. In other words, the possat couldn’t, say, ‘ride a lightning bolt’. - Reach escape velocity without transmuting a myriad of thrusters or using the method above (dubbed ‘Lightwalking’). |
