Character Sheet for Axel "Atman" Edelweiss
Background/History
Axel is a mage, coming from a long family of proximi mage, bred in order to maximize the chance of awakening along his bloodline. While his bloodline was focused on creating Obrimos Theurgist. Unfortunately for his family, since nearly 3 generation, the Edelweiss haven't been able to produce a single mage offspring, a lot of hope ended up being pinned on Axel, as a 7th son of a seventh son, he prophetically had the best shot of realizing his true potential.
Unfortunately, Axel ended up awakening, but not to the realm the Silver Ladder thearchs hoped he would awake to, instead of the heavenly Aether, Axel awoke to the darker realm of Pandemonium, making him a demonist, a manipulator of space and mind. Not only that, but he awoke with the rare talent of a summoner's soul, making him more adept to call down the denizen of the plane where he inscribed his name.
While his awakening saved his family from being cut off from the sponsorship of the Silver Ladder order, the stigma of being a demonist, a summoner, lied heavily on his shoulder, and short of being ostracized he was quickly sent away to the Silver Ladder for training into becoming a professional summoner. His engagement planned since a couple of days after he was born has been put on hold indefinitely, which wasn't completely to displease him.
World/Setting
Atman is part of the new world of darkness setting.
